Daily Head Housekeeper/ Cook - Belgravia, London

This lovely family run a very busy household with 3 school aged children, 7, 13 & 14 years old and have 2 small dogs. The current HK has retired after 9 happy years, and they need a replacement to start early/mid September. You will oversee the gardener, and the daily housekeeper who manages cleaning and laundry, however this is also a hands on position and you will manage all day to day running of this household. As well, do all food shopping daily, run general errands i.e. dry cleaning, etc. walk the dogs regularly and on occasions, assist with the children i.e. picking up from school and assist with any of their day to day activities and social requirements. A good family cook is necessary to prepare and cook all meals for the children, and prepare evening meals for the employers. This will be either food prep or completed dish ready for reheating. Good healthy cooking required, along with daily snacks for the children's lunch boxes, larder etc. A driver would be an advantage, but not necessary as everything is in walking distance. A professional, experienced and flexible individual is required. This family are informal, but do expect high standards. Hours M-F 10am to 8pm and, if candidate happy to work Saturdays, this is an advantage, but if not another individual will be employed to work weekends.

The successful candidate will assist the family who have a four year old daughter and two dogs. The parents are hard working and travel a great deal. On an administrative level, you will be admitting and supervising workmen in the home. The contract is based approx. 7 hours per day, however flexibility is key.
